Grosse Pointe Public Library - Ewald Branch
MarxModa was pleased to partner with Quinn Evans and the Grosse Pointe Public Library on the design of their renovated Ewald Branch.
To create a library of the future that would serve as a community living room for Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods patrons and visitors. Quinn Evans provided interior enhancements including improved lines of sight and safety at the main entrance, a new centrally located circulation and reference desk, updates for administrative areas, a new visitor lounge with living wall, and an interior refresh of finishes, while MarxModa provided decorative focal lights at the new single service desk and supportive furniture throughout the revitalized building.
Administrative areas, study rooms, lounge areas, an adult area, a youth area, and a lobby.

The library is a key element to our community, here in Grosse Pointe. It really has been a joy to work on this renovation and to get to design and create functional and innovative spaces that will continue to cultivate a community promoting literacy for lasting learning experiences. —Fatima Beacham, Senior Interior Designer, Quinn Evans
