Finding Cures for Inherited Eye Disease with Your Help

Thanks to the generous support of our partners we were able to raise $40,220 for the Institute for Vision Research.

A light-filled home office with a white Everywhere Table, white Mirra 2 task chair, and white bookshelves.

Our campaign to make a difference for the University of Iowa Institute for Vision Research by donating $10 for every Mirra 2 task chair sold over six months was a massive success. Every organization who purchased chairs to support their employees and every individual who purchased a chair for their home office or workspace helped us achieve this goal. With your help we were able to contribute a gift that will allow IVR continue their lifesaving research to find cures for rare eye diseases like Sam Walker's Retinitis Pigmentosa.

The kind of translational research we do in the Institute for Vision Research can be difficult to fund through conventional funding mechanisms, which is why gifts like yours are so vital to us. Thank you for your generous support, our work would truly not be possible without people like you. We are making great progress, and we expect 2021 to take us much closer to the cures we seek.
