Making a Difference for NF Forward
With your help we were able to raise $2,470 for NF Forward, and by popular demand the fundraiser continues!
We are so proud to share that our six month campaign to make a difference for NF Forward by donating $10 for every Embody task chair purchased was a huge success. Thanks to every company that purchased these high-performance chairs for their employees and every individual who purchased one for their home we were able to not only fundraise, but raise awareness about NF Foward and the life changing work they do. With your help we are donating money that will fund research that will eventually lead to a cure for this debilitating disease that affects one in every 3,000 people.
NF Forward doesn't just sponsor research, the organization also spreads awareness and humanizes this debilitating disease. With their Strength & Honor Award, presented at their annual BeNeFit, they recognize the resiliency and determination of those with Neurofibromatosis. In 2020 the honoree was Maddox Gibson, a 5th grader in North Carolina whose NF was undiagnosed and untreated before he moved to the United States from his native China.
Maddox is so much more than a person with NF, he is a cheerful and curious child who loves Legos and wants to be a chef! With the help of organizations like NF Forward he and others with NF have a bright future.
A Chair for You, A Cure for Them
MarxModa chooses organizations to support that are personally significant to our team. NF Forward was once again chosen for our 2021 Make a Difference campaign calendar so we are pleased to announce that we will be extending our Embody campaign for another 6 months! From now until the end of October 2021 for every Embody sold we will donate $10 to help fund research to search for a cure for Neurofibromatosis.
